Taiwan Tourism 2030

On December 16, 2018, the “Taiwan Tourism 2030 White Paper on Taiwan Tourism Policy” was drafted. The white paper takes “tourism to build a country” as the vision and “tourism mainstreaming” as the concept, through the six major policy axes of “organizing legal reform, creating attractive attractions, preparing theme tourism, expanding tourist sources, optimizing the industrial environment, and promoting smart experience”, As well as 23 strategies and 36 key measures, the tourism industry will become the locomotive of economic development, and Taiwan will become an “important tourist destination in Asia.”
